夢二が子ども向けに編んだ絵本や詩画集では、素朴で伸びやかな描線、あっさりした採色により、人物や動物、植物がシンプルに表現されて「ゆるカワ」の要素を多分に含んだ、無邪気で愛らしいイラストが多く描かれました。
