Yumeji's Kawaii 015 (楽譜表紙イラスト(2) セノオ楽譜） Sheet Music Cover Illustrations (2) - Senoo Sheet Music

妹尾幸陽（せのおこうよう）が設立したセノオ音楽出版社より刊行されたピース楽譜（小曲１編だけを、紙片１枚程度に収めた楽譜）シリーズで、セノオ楽譜は大正4年（1915）より昭和初期まで、500に及ぶタイトルで出版され、独唱曲・合唱曲・歌劇・民謡・器楽（バイオリン・ピアノ）など幅広い内容を網羅していました。また当時楽譜の数と質の高さから、「日本名物」と称されるほどでした。

夢二はセノオ楽譜で12番目に刊行された「お江戸日本橋」を皮切りに、昭和2年（1927）まで継続して表紙絵をデザインし、その数は280以上に及びました。また夢二が作詞をして流行歌にもなった「宵待草」も、自身で表紙絵を担当、セノオ楽譜として刊行されました。 ★★★ This is a series of piece scores (scores containing just one short piece on about a single page) published by Senoo Music Publishing, founded by Senoo Koyo. Senoo Music was published under over 500 titles from 1915 to the early Showa period, covering a wide range of content including solo pieces, choruses, operas, folk songs, and instrumental music (violin and piano).

The number and quality of scores at the time were so high that they were called "Japanese specialties."

Yumeji designed cover art for the 12th Senoo Music, "Oedo Nihonbashi," and continued to do so until 1927, totaling over 280.

Yumeji also designed the cover art for "Yoimachigusa (Evening Primroses)," a popular song for which he wrote the lyrics, and it was published as Senoo Music.
